They're a bit misleading, I think only the movement is made in Switzerland, they're definitely assembled in Malaysia because my watch shipped from Malaysia when it came to me.

Both times I made payments on it, the fraud department for my CC went wild because I was trying to pay in CHF to a company in Malaysia.

Do you know if/how you service these micro brand watches? Or are they using ETA?

So many of them are just using off the shelf movements... Ming's are bespoke to some degree, I know for them they recommend service every 5-7'ish years and it appears they have something in-house or at least can advise you of a partnered business to send it to.

Not that it matters to me anymore lol

Consolation prize is BoBo massage in richmond, or swanlake but i dont think you'll get anything good besides a bad case of crabs.

Have to respect that they don't worry about casing it in Switzerland to get the "Swiss Made" label, but still charge the price they would if they did

Not endangered (I think?) but I've seen elephant skin straps which I found appalling.

Stingray actually looks pretty cool

Redditors are either super hairy rich guys, or kids with extremely narrow wrists. It's weird

Rolex does the same volume as "entry luxury" brands like Longines but makes $10B for it. Only Tissot and Swatch make more units

Yet they still convince people that there's a shortage so they have to charge extra and make customers buy a bunch of stuff first

RM #6 in revenue, sold fewer than 6000 watches

Lots of people buy Gucci watches huh

I love my weekender. Honestly you can’t go wrong with a quartz 30 dollar weekender and a metal strap
