like someone said, roughly spend under 500 or over 3000 to get a watch, otherwise its not worth it.

so i've been looking at some vintage watches...omegas in particular. anyone else fancy that?

It really person opinion I feel, the watch snob at Askmen says no watches between 1000-5000 is not worth getting. Vintage Omegas are hot, I have seen some of the early 19 century's ones ending for around 200 bucks, not bad at all!

Hublot uses different materials in their watches and his looks like a CERAMIC bezel, and GOLD case. But the pics were crappy so it could also be a Cappuccino. Google it: hublot cappuccino gold

If you don't know much about this watch, don't comment on it.

Either way, I'd like to see more pics of it.

The watch can have ceramic bezel and gold case. I'm saying there's no such thing as a gold ceramic bezel.

Do you own that watch to know so much about it? If not then don't comment or better yet learn to read

Dude, the model IS freaking called the GOLD CERAMIC.

Actually I own a different model of this same watch. It's all ceramic.

Ceramic is a type of material . U can't have gold ceramic. Tell me how many k gold it is?

It's like saying my watch is made of platinum titanium. The watch can have a mixture of materials but how exactly do you mix ceramic and gold and form one material ?

The bezel is ceramic and the case is gold. My whole argument was that there can't be a ceramic gold material.

Oh my goodness, I have to explain this even more? I was talking about the model. Model. Model!!! Of course there can't be ceramic gold, geez.. does that even have to be said?

Original post: Gold ceramic? I'm not familar with your model with the inside rings...

Anyways, to the OP... would like more pics of it!

Anyone have any idea how the Citizen Chrono-Time AT Collection Caliber H610 works in terms of the radio signaling and atomic time? Does the radio signaling essentially help you keep atomic time as well as keeping the right time in the right timezone? Because this would be awesome handy for me!

Found this review - Review of the Citizen Chrono-Time AT

I haven't read it but maybe it'll shed some light into what you're wanting to know.

Are you looking for a replacement GENUINE Tissot strap or just a generic strap? Any authorized dealer can order you a genuine strap. Any run-of-the-mill jewelry store would stock generic straps, probably Hirsch straps.

plenty of people over at WUS forums use hirsch and i haven't read about a complaint. i got a white croc for my gf's speedmaster and it seems sturdy enough. only complaint is the white "chips" off easily at the edge that goes into the buckle and keeper.

we don't have a local leathersmith or strapsmith here in vancouver, do we?

^ I just looks wierd not having a logo above the two smaller dials. For $35 though I'd rock it just for everyday use. Well, as long as it keeps time

Anybody heard of Officina Del Tempo watches? I came across one at a flee market and it got me intrigued about the brand. I googled it and the only thing I got was that they are Itallian made watches and they sell for about $400-$900.
