I'd go with the Breitling based on cost then change that hideous band

both are about the same visually look the same. Both have horrid bands and would change that out asap!! I would say try and test fit them as one is bigger then that other. Both great time pieces tho.

I know I hate the bands! The omega band is wearable and looks better, Which bands are good?

be aware that original Omega straps and metal bracelets run from 250$ (rubber strap on tang buckle) all the way up to around $750 (croc strap no buckle yet, or metal bracelet)

i'd bet the breitling straps and bracelets cost around that same ballpark too

^ Yup, so its better to buy a watch with the bracelet or strap you like or go aftermarket.

i originally had my PO on the rubber dive strap and tang buckle, but then i bought the rubberized leather with the deployment clasp, and that cost me something around 500$.
back when I bought the PO the metal wasn't even available yet!

Can someone suggest a place to pick up a nice leather strap locally? It's going on a Tissot PRC200.

What kind of watch? Get a watchmaker to open the back and check the movement.

^why don't you bring it to the omega boutique downtown??
cl ad said it was purchased there, so maybe the store would still have a record of it being bought there and they could open the caseback there as well

You can bring Omegas' to the local official Omega repair dealer on West Georgia, I believe the name is "Time and Gold". They will help you authenticate the watch. The last speedy I sold I went there and the buyer paid $45 to get an appraisal.

Omega PO > Breitling Superocean

the co-axial movement on the PO does not need service for at least 10 years, it is bullet proof. The look of the 42mm planet ocean is more balanced and easier to the eyes. I went to Vancouver hotel and a new one is $6200
