So I've got an old watch my ex gave me a while back to use while at work. It's a cheesy Hilfiger watch, and I'm looking to replace it. Just looking for something in the 100-150 range in the same style (black face, silver bezel). Any suggestions?

Do any of you guys have professional jobs? Because half the watches I see in the thread would never be OK to wear with a suit. G-shock.. lol. People still wear those?

Hey guys,
I'm on the market for an everyday watch
Want something fashionable, but also durable
I an super hard on my watches, constantly running into things and such
Both my last 2 seikos ended up scratching/shattering really bad.
I'm thinking of the Oakley Transfer Case (one of the few oakley watches that are in my price point)
Was wondering if anybody has any experiance with Oakley Watches, and also what color would u guys suggest I get? Oakley Transfer Case Watch | Oakley Store
Thanks in advance Posted via RS Mobile |

One engineer I work with rocks a G-shock lol
I would imagine if you were a doctor/lawyer you wouldn't wear a g-shock..

I'm assuming Ashford is a reputable dealer to order through? I've seen a ton of sketchy watch sites out there.

People still wear those? | Funny enough, my old GP rocked a G-Shock. I actually think it's okay to wear something a little brazen, even if you're in a two thousand dollar suit. It adds a splash of colour/pizzazz that kinda indicates that you're not just another suit in the office.

tons of good reviews on ashford and jomashop!
@spoon, you're right with zenith having in house movements, but last time i checked they were more than 4gs, except maybe for new old stock models?

And I never said 4gs. I said 4 digits or more. There's a difference.

i dont think people take watches as serious as they used to i've seen all sorts, sure some people look odd but it largely goes unnoticed at least in my experience Quote:

there's also jomashop.com if ye wanted to shop around; watch forums are a good place to shop too WATCH TALK FORUMS - Home etc

4grand for an in house movement...i'd like to see that | I'm a newbie to the watch world. Why do people value so much with an in house movement? Is the 2500 movement purchased off a third party?

Hi all,
The Jeweler offered me the PO 2500 for $4000 tax in.
PO 8500 was offered to me for $5500 after tax.
Do you think either one is a good deal?
