Most do exactly that. You can't directly finance a watch, you need leverage from another place - homeowner's line, unsecured personal line of credit, etc.

These are all great choices. If I saw you had a JLC reverso, I’d be like … a man of fine taste I see. The watchmakers watchmaker. They supply a lot of movements to high end brands.

I’m more of an omega guy myself so any speedy I think is the perfect start to collection.

gs is good but niche and nobody knows what it is other than if you know you know guys.
HELOC, LOC, and some used websites let you finance with like sezzle pay, afterpay, affirm, etc

I've heard ppl swipe a $10K Explorer and pay it back at 24% in a year just because allocation came before their milestone

jesus if i had to buy a watch on credit id buy a Timex or something. Makes no sense to go into debt buying something like this unless you have an "in" like a steel daytona comes up and you get it at MSRP but you're flat broke (which makes no sense cuz how did you get the allocation then?)

ugh that's trying a bit too hard to keep up with the jones. Just wear what you can afford. to be honest if you cant afford to lose it, don't buy it/wear it.
