Pretty much the same number of Starbucks we have. Maybe more.

Dumb thing is they all have pretty much the same stock and try to tell you that each one is different...

tru_blue 08-14-2013 12:22 PM

others to the list are "look fook", the watch place called "time centre", "sa sa" and "Bonjour"

I too realized this stupid need for excessive amount of jewelry. There are more jewelry stores than convenient stores.

HondaGuy 08-15-2013 02:37 AM

Yah heard from family that everyone had to stay home during the wind...
Luckily it stopped...

I wouldnt mind heading out there now for some good eating and shopping... Fall season!!

Tuen Mun & Central

Obsideon 08-17-2013 12:48 AM

I have relatives there but they live quite a distance from the "action" (Choi Hung and Kwai Fong?) so the last 2 times I went back I ended up staying at hotels in Wan Chai and Tin Hau area. As a "tourist" it's inconvenient for me to get wasted around Central LKF then trying to figure out how to get back. :drunk:

I live in the slums of yuen long and never go out. It gets played out and boring after a while and I've been back for almost 7 years now.

Yah thats a good question, I'd like to know too...

I usually use Peoples' cause for $100hkd prepay, they give an extra $10 worth of minutes. I ask for the canada/hk card version so its pretty cheap to call home and local use.
But I use my mall's free wifi downstairs lol...
