Happened to check out Golftown.ca yesterday and there was a big ad about the annual demo sale. Decided to check it out and bought myself a mint set of X20's. I swear they couldn't have even been used for one round as half of them seem as though they've never been hit.
They were also labelled incorrectly. They were sitting beside another set of 7 clubs 4-PW with a price tag of $425 for 8 clubs. (This set was also in much worse condition) The set I ended up buying had all 8 clubs 4-SW but the sticker was for a set of 7 for $375.
$420 after tax and they'll fit them for free.
I'm stoked!

I'm stoked! | We belong to Golf Town's Leaderboard and they gave us a head's up on the sale. We were allowed in at 7:00 a.m. I bought a new BagBoy Cart Bag.....tons of space.
Richard gave me a deal I couldn't pass up
I'm not the only one in this house that got a niffty item either |

Hello guys. Do you guys have any inputs on the Graphite TaylorMade R7 Irons? Any reviews on it? Also, do any of you guys have any hookups for sizing or lengthening the shaft for free perhaps lol
Thanks

$220,GolfTown,comes with a box(dozen) new Nike balls. i chose the Tour D's.
and Northview(Ridge) took my tee time, so they'd better be open!
10 minutes away? you must live more north of the golf course, towards the #1?
in the last 3 weeks, i've played Langara,GreenAcres, Riverway and Hazelmere.

the 5900 is awesome. straight, forgiving. but, after using the Dymo 3 metal, i may have to upgrade it to Dymo driver as well. there's a St8 fit version with an adjustable hosel. you can change the lie angle, loft, etc. want that!
btw, there was NO snow at NorthView, haha!

new wedges! gimmick? i thought so, but on sale for $45. a few months ago they were $130 each, so i bought a set. tried them at the range, very impressed. i may reshaft them, but other than that, that infomercial you see on these is actually pretty close. we'll see though, the jury's still out till i play a few rounds.

Well I'm not the greatest golfer in the world I have a crappy set of clubs (Fairway if you have even heard of them lol) I go about a dozen times a year shoot high 90's on a very good day. So I'm looking for a new set of clubs. Right now I'm bidding on Taylor Made R7 Max CGB 2007 on ebay but I'm not holding my breath since I can't see it going for what my max is.
What do you guys think of those clubs anyways?

What do you guys think of those clubs anyways? | golfdigest.com always has reviews. http://www.golfdigest.com/equipment/...ronsintro_0702
but you should always try something out first before buying online. have you tried the set at golftown?

Going to go to golf town today to check some out. | The ping s58s are blades i believe. These types of clubs are better for the more advanced golfer. Ping does make some other excellent clubs however. You might want to check out the i10's or g10's.
I have the older Ping i3+ which is comparable to the new i10 and I absolutely love them.

I went to golftown today have some big bertha 06 irons on right now for $389. Not bad deal at all thats for sure. And being such a forgiving club it might be good for me.
