I'm excited to announce a new "Pro-System" combo set for the Lightsphere system at a substantial savings.

By popular request, we've created a "Lightsphere System" package which combines a Cloud/Clear/Amberdome/Chromedome and Free Tutorial DVD for $129. (regular price for all five items is $151.95) And using the coupon code "February", you'll save an additional 10% so you'll get all five products for $116.10. This offer expires on 3/1. This item is hidden off of the e-store, you must click this special link to see the product, because it is otherwise invisible.

The coupon code also allows you to save 10% on all orders made in February for selected products from our e-store. Just enter the code, "february" (IMPORTANT- type the code exactly as it appears)... when it asks if you have a promotional code, and it will immediately take 10% off. Please do not delay in this one.

We now offer Next Day and 2nd Day Air service.

Thank you!

Gary Fong

There is NO turning back.

I have had my full frame camera for about a week or so,

anyway last night when i went out i brought my old 350D with a 24mm lens
which i am selling very soon,

but oh man.

i couldn't stand how small the view finder is. i have always hated it,

now i look at it again, it reconfirms that indeed i don't like the viewfinder at all.

its so small that even if u are just taking pictures with people 4 feet away from u, its very hard to frame because its hard to see what is actually in the screen.

Well if you hate your 350 that much, just send it to me, and I'll give it a good home :D

i still think u are better off if u just get a $150 or so manual film SLR.

u can probably get an 80's top professional camera probably for $100 these days

and Nikon F3 F4 the Canon F1 F1N even the 1N for much less than a DSLR.

probably can be much better off.

K-Dub 02-22-2007 12:17 AM

i do have a manual film slr, pentax me, an olympus xa2, and a polaroid 600..

no digi cam of my own at the moment, im using the schools nikon d70s.. =p and borrow bikerx's xt from time to time.

Mananetwork 02-22-2007 12:18 AM

5D is an addiction... :(

dub.dub 02-22-2007 01:12 AM

^ i restricted myself from spending $ on full frame camera bodies through certain lenses :p

Soundy 02-22-2007 06:19 AM

If I was gonna get another film camera, I'd go after an old Minolta X-700. That was my first SLR, and it's a wonderful little MF/AE body!

^^^ not to mention the incredibly sharp Rokkor lenses.

Yup, it sure is. The S2, S3 & now S5 cannot be beat when it comes to the reproduction of skintones and dynamic range.

Meowjin 02-22-2007 04:01 PM

/waits for new 5d or 1ds :P

The 5D was rated as the best camera for skin tones, then Fuji, then Nikon

Source? I thought the S3 was generally rated better by pros. I mean only skin tones, not resolution or anyhting else.

Senna4ever 02-22-2007 11:31 PM

Ha! I still made you do it though....hehe...fell into my trap.

Senna4ever 02-22-2007 11:36 PM

Interesting....the other high-end canons are rated lower than I would have thought. The S5 should match or beat the 5D, I think... The D200 is third, which means the Sony Alpha A100 would be tied with the D200, as they both share the same sensor. I wonder where my 7D would fit in.
