Bonjour43MA 05-08-2007 12:49 PM

and i thought the 300/2.8 that i rented was big... damn that 600 looks massive!

Meowjin 05-08-2007 02:03 PM

So today I drove the CLS 500 my brother bought.

yeah. It has the "suspension button" so I stiffen the suspension and hit 100km in like 2 seconds.

ha ha, 2 seconds, were you drunk or were you starting from a roll on at 60km/h? cause its closer to 6 seconds 0-60

ColinK 05-08-2007 05:14 PM

lol..still a nice car either way though!

When that test was done I have no idea if the "sport button" was pressed, because I can defiantly tell you I hit 60 mph in like 5 seconds.

77civic1200 05-08-2007 08:21 PM

what year is it? if its a 2007, its like 5.4sec. If its older, its like 6.1sec

All depending on driver of course =)

Meowjin 05-08-2007 08:41 PM

2007

either way you can't deny its a nice car. Granted it isnt up to par with its competitors but it is in a diffrent class, than say a 6 series.

Senna4ever 05-09-2007 02:03 AM

It's a beautiful car, but I hate the high windowsills. My friend is a salesperson at the Boundary Rd dealership, and he gets to take home the CLS every night.

Meowjin 05-09-2007 08:52 AM

The only thing that bugs me is it's lack of features. Have no idea what mercedes was trying to create with this car.

naomi 05-09-2007 10:05 AM

I don't want to be at work today.

That is all.

Soundy 05-09-2007 10:14 AM

I'm with naomi... I gotta drive to W. Van and then to south Surrey. In a beat-ass '91 Aerostar.

Blargh.

Why wouldn't you want to work Naomi? Don't you do print/photography/web for living? What a great profession!

Yes, it's a great job, and I do love it. The work is diverse, I get to dictate my own projects and network with many clients - but it's just one of those days.

You know what I mean?

I'd rather be outside.

dspirit79 05-09-2007 12:58 PM

ah... ic... I guess it's nice to be out in the sun.

naomi 05-09-2007 05:59 PM

I go back to my car after work today, and someone switched the plates on my car. WTF?

dub.dub 05-09-2007 08:58 PM

^ what... LOL what did they leave you with? :\

naomi 05-09-2007 09:31 PM

Someone else's plates! The insurance was even good on it until August!

The cops just came and left. Seized the "stolen plates" and now I have to get new ones tomorrow after work. I guess that's what I get for parking next to the No. 5 Orange.

Jack Chow insurance, here I come.

dspirit79 05-09-2007 09:35 PM

Someone else's plates?! ouch... sorry to hear that...

Soundy 05-09-2007 10:12 PM

Just be glad another cop didn't come along right behind them and write you a ticket for having your car on the street with no plates...

77civic1200 05-09-2007 10:14 PM

Its a tactic I have used for a long time. I switch plates from a stolen vehicle with yours, in hopes that you don't notice. That way I get to drive around with "good" plates, and you get pulled over for driving a "stolen" car =)

Mananetwork 05-09-2007 11:13 PM

^^^

There, fixed

Senna4ever 05-10-2007 12:12 AM

lmao. One more month, then it's no more work for me!

lowside67 05-10-2007 07:18 AM

reaching the age of retirement eh? ;)
