If anyone's interested, I saw a used 70-200 F2.8L (non-IS) for $869 @ Kerrisdale Cameras just now. Said it'll be available on February 8th.

That's a pretty decent price.

THE CANADIAN PRESS

February 8, 2008 at 5:20 PM EST

OAKVILLE, Ont. — Halton Regional police are investigating a report of a man with a long-barrelled rifle at Sheridan College.

Police received the report from a teacher at the Trafalgar campus in Oakville, Ont., through school security at about 2:15 p.m.

The campus was locked down as officers searched the whole school, letting people leave as each classroom was cleared and police say there is no public safety risk.

One man was taken into custody early in the investigation, but after being questioned, detectives determined he was not involved.

Sergeant Brian Carr says police are reviewing security footage to determine the identity of the man the teacher saw and if in fact he was carrying a gun.

Sgt. Carr says no guns have been found, no shots were fired and no one was injured.

Need some help here:

When I view some of my pictures on my comp, they somehow get corrupted as in part of the images get shifted or color gets all messed up. Few instances where it'll say "Drawing failed".

The images have been viewed before and it was fine. I just went to preview again and it's all corrupted. Do you know what the cause of this would be? Hard drive?

I viewed it on my flash drive just now as I transferred some images over and some images are corrupted as well. So, would it be the computer's problem then rather than the hard drive?

Confused...

Googled and found out it's due to "Windows Picture & Fax Viewer", but still cannot find the solution yet.

What's a good and fast picture viewer?

USPS Global Express - 3-7 days w/ tracking
USPS Global Priority - 4-8 days w/o tracking

Which one, or neither of them, will charge brokerage fees when arriving at my door?

USPS has sent me several things in the past, but it has been too long and not sure which service was chosen. But as I remember, each time, there were no brokerage fees to be paid. There was once with Purolator (actually, PBB but not sure if that was via USPS). Just wondering if it's both services that this applies to or just one. Anyone?

Btw, this is for something < $100USD.

Mananetwork 02-23-2008 11:50 PM

Make sure their air, then you won't get charged brokerage fees.

Hmmm... not sure if they're shipping via air or not. Those are the only 2 options showing up (one more, but not choosing that). It doesn't mention if shipping via ground or air. :(

No, you're right. XP > Mac OS X > Vista.
