I only have a D40, it doesn't have built-in wireless

Does anyone know how to remove text on a JPEG or is it not possible?

Photoshop, or your favorite similar software... just have to edit it out carefully, like you would for anything else you want to remove.

Ah... I ordered a convocation picture of mine just now. Was just wondering if I could have removed the hot pink SAMPLE text in one of the proofs, haha.

^My wife did that to a couple of the "SAMPLE" pics from my kid's grad photos :D

Kid's is a single kid. The grad photos belong to or are of his kid.

If he wrote kids', then it would be grad photos of multiple kids.
