Boo~!! Light clouds are starting to obscure the Moon! Posted via RS Mobile |
took a few, they look like all the other moon shots out there. |
The moon a month ago or so was better. It was so big, yellow and close to us,..+ it was a clear night! |

The Moon is bright though - usually shutter speeds are about 125/sec @ 200 ISO, but tonight I was using 500/sec. Posted via RS Mobile |
Yup, brightest since 2 decades ago. Pics? :D |
I'll be home soon... Everyone and their dog has to stop and see what I'm looking at. I should have gone somewhere less public. Posted via RS Mobile |
^^^ pic!!!! |
btw, the moon is 14% bigger during a perigee and as much as 30% brighter. http://science.nasa.gov/media/medial...iomamitis1.jpg |
just about out the door to head off downtown to the CelticFest. not interested in drunken leprechauns as much as who is interested in watching drunken leprechauns. some sort of parade @ 11 but i'll be at the stage area and village mostly, Granville (between Robson/Georgia). golfed yesterday so i could get out today to a sunny day and get some shots. http://www.celticfestvancouver.com/i...e-map-2011.jpg |
anyone have good suggestions for personal gear in cold and/or wet weather? looking for beanies and especially gloves. i saw some that have grip-like material for dexterity (that eventually falls off), and some that can expose your thumb and index finger (all weird design/colors; none in plain black). TIA |
anyone know how to use the cls system on the nikon d90? i have a sb26 and sb600 and i wanna know how to trigger both flashes with no remote cuz i dont have one yet.. tried googling many times but everything that came out was CLS reviews |

f0.95 50mm lens that costs.. $11,000 USD. WTF. |
^Oldschool Canon TV 50mm f0.95 is still going on eBay for almost 3k USD. http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-50mm-F-0-9...#ht_3758wt_907 http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2488/...0f131be844.jpg http://www.c-mount.passion.pro/image...m+f0.95--2.jpg Cheapest alternative for 50mm 0.95 noctilust would be the lesser Noktor 50mm f0.95 for µ4/3rds. http://noktor.com/products.php http://noktor.com/img/01.jpg I want one just for the hell of it. Lol. |
The Noktor is not a replacement for any of the other f0.95 lenses. It's more like a Holga lens. The Voightlander 50mm f1.1 Nokton is an ideal substitute, but that Leica is such a sweet lens...totally worth $11,000 if you can swing it. They've also introduced a 25mm f0.95 for µ4/3 cameras. http://www.voigtlaender.de/cms/voigt...ft_lenses.html Posted via RS Mobile |
goddamn all this 3/4 stuff makes me want to sell my canon gear and get into it. |
