I'll have a Pentax Q, thank you. ;) |
What the bloody hell is Nikon thinking?? http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/ima...h-30-110mm.jpg Still no D700, D300s, D3s/D3 successor? |

That's why it's that much better than the Nikon. ;) Though I'm still sticking with my NEX system as it's that much better for the same price. :lol |
stupid question here, how do you guys remember what you did to a pic, post processing wise? wish i could attach notes to the image somehow. |

Anyone know where I can get a Manfrotto 323 RC2 System Quick Release Adapter with 200PL-14 Plate but jus the Quick Release Adapter? Everyone is selling it with the plate but I already have the plate from my tripod and don't need 2 of them. :( It's http://static.bhphotovideo.com/image...150/554141.jpg but just the bottom part. |
^^^ That part is not available retail - you'll need to have it ordered in as a special order as it is considered a spare part. That particular part number is R308.90, and should cost about $30. I just checked Manfrotto's Canadian warehouse inventory and they do have it in stock. Shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to get it in. For 323RC2 part numbers, download the below .pdf: http://mediacdn.shopatron.com/media/...pdf?1272346406 |
If it costs $30 I might as well just order both of it right? It's like $30ish for both pieces already :okay: |
^^^ Yep. it'll only be about $10 cheaper - I would keep the other plate as a spare just in case you lose the original or use it on a second body. |
who here has used extension tubes? thinking of increasing my macro's capabilities. no optics means no loss of IQ, right? i'm looking at a set of Kenko's, around $150. |
|
little demo with the tubes. need a lot more time to use them but this is with the 20mm only. getting in closer is awesome, but not cropping too much is proving to be awesome too. i can hardly wait to do a stacked subject. http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...0/beetest1.jpg |

^ It's 399.99. For the price it's not bad but if you want a more versatile travel shooter the 18-200 is better but that's at 900 bucks a pop. Though one thing I'm not a fan of with this zoom is the aperture; 4.5-6.3. At 399.99 I can't complain much and I'll be heading to the Caribbean next week so tons of sunshine there! I do hope they make a G lens zoom with a F2.8 for the NEX. ( I'm dreaming I know :lol). Maybe I should just save up money and buy an A77 so I have an excuse to buy A-Mount lens. :lol Anyway, from some test shots I did, the quality seem pretty good for the price. http://i54.tinypic.com/27wvehi.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/2m3o4g7.jpg |
Well you could always go fast a-mount lens + the new a-mount to e-mount adapter but it's really not worth it. Got some pics of it on the Nex? |
^ The E-A mount is like 450 man. I might as well buy an A77 or Buy an NEX-7 lol. The adapter really caters to people who own A-mount camera(s) or the SUPER 35 FS100 camcorder. Yeah I'll post photos soon! |
hey, i see my bee's foot. :D ^^^^ |
Sorry, do you need me to pay you royalties? (Good eye) :lol |
