i never said i was an expert, and norman, fuck off, go jack off to somethign straight for once.

you however like to take everything i say, twist it, and go make it this weeks norman's porn material. The original person that post asked if anyone has taken it. I provided advice based on my experience.

what is ur problem anyways? Ive spoken to u i believe a few times, and now u know me? Did i brush u off once at some car meet? did i happen to get some girl u were going after?

Do u get off on replying to every thread i post? Did you spill ur load in the "letter to !SG" thread? Gezzz, never knew u thought of me like that, i donno if i should take that as flattery or disgust... Wow, the only time the phrase "oh well, whatever gets u off" really does apply...

csc is the doorway to other financial oppurtunities. and never hurts to know something more. I like others started out playing with online budget stock trading out of curiousity. i answered this thread as best i could and replied the most because it was still fresh in my mind what i experienced taking the csc a year ago.

i tried studying thru correspondance, and then i looked into tutorials, such as those provided at bcit.

The CFA, CFP and just about everything else is great if you like putting your brain through a meat grinder because they are very challenging courses. The amount of value you get however has little to do with the material you learn and more about actually getting in there and doing it, and trying it.

Looking back I would have been better off to take a degree in Psychology.

Not to be an asshole but I have no clue what you're talking about.

If someone wants to say you're an idiot who cares. Everyone has got to start somewhere and the CSC is step one. At least you're starting the journey. Where it takes you isn't important just so long as you're happy with the results. I've never been one for books much anyways ;)

Good choice, it will serve you better. The only problem is that everything that you could do you won't be allowed to do as a CFA because the rules and restrictions actually prevent you from doing what is the best choice. Good luck with your one two and three levels :)

when did you complete your CFA btw? Any pointers you can give me regarding strategies and such in tackling the exams?

Not too long ago.

As for help with the exam writing I'm not sure what I can say. Study a lot and take the practice exams and read the Schweser books. Other than that, there isn't much that I can suggest. Be prepared 200% because if you prepare 100%, when you start writing you'll feel like you know 50% at best. It's hard but very doable.
