Nothing new. The owner (i think his name is Nino) ran a huge telemarketing scam a few years back and the Americans wanted him extradited, not sure what happen with that. His bro in law is serving time for a crime Nino committed a few years back. I remember he was pulling out new Mercedes cars from the Richmond dealership with cash. The whole car rental place is a front. He also owned a warehouse around the W 4th area where he parked most of his "other" cars. Put it this way, the guy has tons of money and connections and a person you don't want to fuck with. I'm sure he'll get get off because he has in the past.

A North Vancouver man is guilty of of planning and executing the June 2005 kidnapping and torture of a Surrey man. Omid Tahvili was found guilty Friday in New Westminster Provincial Court. Court heard Tahvili was the boss of a criminal gang and kidnapped a cash courier's brother-in-law when $350,000 in drug money, and the courier, went missing. The kidnapper threatened his victim, kicked him and cut his back with a razor blade before eventually releasing the man.

platinum touch is on 5th and pine, i can see it from my window. That place is very shady, the swat team had it all taped off few months back.

There is also a small cafe within the building and everytime im coming home late from work there's a bunch of nice cars and people inside, obviously not open to the public.
