| ** Buy and Sell Miscellaneous Rules ** (Apr 2012)
Welcome to the Revscene Buy and Sell forums Miscellaneous section. We pride ourselves in having ther best Classifieds forums in Western Canada. That said, please read the following rules before you post:
Absolutely no breeder pets
If you feel as if there is a special circumstance, please contact one the head mods Alatar or Orgasm_Donor.
Gift Cards or Credits
Before you make a final deal, ensure that the right amount is on the card and have varified it on location with the store.
No Coupons or non-transferables
If it says at the back not for resale or not to be transfered, it is not allowed.
Event Tickets
Tickets MUST be at Face Value (S/C + Tax included). Number of tickets for sale cannot exceed a maximum of 4 (whether it be 2 pairs for 2 separate games, or 4 tickets for one game, etc.) Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the moderators. If you feel your case deserves review, ask Alatar or orgasm_donor. Failure to disclose # of tickets for sale will result in punitive actions being taken.
You must post an asking price
No "throw me an offer" garbage. Remember, this is not an auction so prices go down, not up. If you do not post a price your thread will be removed and you will recieve points. Even 'feeler' ads need a price. Be specific, use words like OBO or FIRM to entertain offers.
FS/WTB/WTT must be at the beginning of your thread
If we see anything but the above then your thread will be removed and you may recieve points. FREE, FEELER, FOR LEASE, LEASE TAKEOVER are also acceptable titles.
Bumping
Only one bump per two calender day. Bumping more than once in two day will result in points. If you need to add info, please use the edit button instead of adding a new post to your thread. This is due to the excess taffic on the Misc Forums.
Details in your ad
If your ad doesn't have sufficient details your thread may be removed or locked. NO LINKS TO OTHER SITES EITHER (ie: Craigslist) unless you just want to show a picture. No Ebay links please.
Selling for Profit, Lowballing, Thread-jacking, Chatting and Flaming NOT TOLERATED
This is a Buy and Sell forum. A place to Buy and sell commodities of personal use. If any of the above rules are broken, you will get points and a subsequent ban if you break them more than once. We don't care if you saw the item for cheaper at the store or if you PMed the OP. DON'T POST IT!
STOLEN ITEMS LEADS TO PROSECUTION
If at any time we suspect that you are selling stolen items then we reserve the right to remove the post, report activities to the Police and Ban you instantly. ZERO TOLERANCE. Please report suspicious activity.
Buyers Beware
We at Revscene are NOT responsible for any products or services sold or traded here (including the sponsor's stuff). Do your research, meet in a well lit and populated area and be wary of your surroundings. Inspect the product thoroughly as well before you shell out your coin.
No spamming
If you are not a sponsor and you are selling items for profit we have the right to remove you without notice. This includes multiples and NEW products. If you're a store and you're using RS as an consumer ground you will be banned instantly. If you would like to be a sponser please contact one of the admins.
No group buys
Group buys must be authorized with either Alatar, orgasm_donor or !SG before being posted. If not, bad things may happen. Also, we do not allow hook-ups if you work at a store or whatever.
Contrabands for this forum are
No Porn, no cigarettes/tobacco products, no alcohol, no drugs, no opened supplements, no pocket bikes, no pellet weapons (or bb guns exceeding 500fps), no edged weapons (with the exception of display items which need to be permitted by a moderator prior to posting).
No off-topic
Flaming, thread-crapping and off-topic discussion can and will result in you receiving points, and or losing your privileges to use the Classifieds. Keep the chatter to PMs.
We may ask for reciepts or proofs of purchase from time to time. Sometimes its random and sometimes its suspected. Failure to produce a reciept, proof or purchase or serial number may result in the removal of the thread without warning.
Not reading the rules prior to posting is not our responsibility but your own. If you did not read the rules and broke them, it is at your expense. Just because you don't read the rules does not mean that it doesn't apply to you.
We also reserve the right to remove threads or posts and access to the Buy and Sell forums and members at any time without notice.

To futher protect our members, we require that you have a minimum post count of 25 to start any transaction in the buy and sell.

No conversations in threads
To re-iterate a rule that was stated above under "Selling for Profit, Lowballing, Thread-jacking, Chatting and Flaming NOT TOLERATED", this means that there is ABSOLUTELY no chatting in threads. This includes but is not limited to asking questions, answering questions, commenting, giving "free bumps" or anything. If it is not your thread, DO NOT POST. Instead, use the PM function and ask the OP. The only person that is posting is the OP and it is ONLY for bumping.
