Iryu is very good.
if you want an epic drama.. Karei naru Ichizoku is one of the best.
Shiroi Kyoto is also very good. but in aired 2003. better than Iryu in my opinion.

im watching a korean Drama called Bad Family? lol its pretty funny
oh Does anyone else download the Drama because they cannot stand Low Quality stuff?

There's quite a bunch at http://www.tokiemedia.com/tv-shows/japanese-drama/ don't know which one is good though, I didn't watch any other than GTO since I saw the anime. I heard Gokusen is good, I think it's about some the Yakuza and something.

^^ Ikebokuro West Gate Park in that list is a pretty damn good dorama, since theres quite a bit of fun in it, and has a heck of a lot of suspense... try that.
or watch Shotgun Marriage for some good laughs... plus, what more reason do you need to watch a drama than Ryoko Hirosue...?

Just finished watching Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake. Very old drama but it is really really good!!
If you liked 1 L of tears (best jdrama IMO) then you will like this..
