Newer...Sexy Voice and Robo was quirky but it made you think. And no, it's not pr0nography or anything, "Sexy Voice" and "Robo" are codenames for two spies lol
Slightly older (2005)...Densha Otoko. Bloody AWESOME show. It's a must watch IMHO.

Nope. I've only recently gotten into J-Drama as well, and my exposure is limited to the stuff TV-Nihon releases thus far lol

1 Litre of Tears is more of a girls drama which involves a lot of characters crying.... a lot.
Definitely watch Densha Otoko! So damn good!

if you like ito misaki.. watch
yama onna, kabe onna.. she stars in it with another hot girl.. *the drama is about boobs lol*
also i recommend.. Nodame Cantabile *comedy with a bit of romatic touch to it. Very funny, and was a top rated show in Japan*
Densha Otoko is great, anyone who wants a good comedy + romatic drama should watch it..
lastly, although thsi is not a drama, Heavenly forest *youtube - HF ENG* is a great movie.. great story line and a sad plot. *the girl from nana stars in this movie*

so so acting also.. | Acting's alright, but it wasn't particularly cheap to make...look at Yamada's room and the setting for all the online netizens; the stuff that's in there are all genuine and worth a lot of money! Yamada's Mina figure alone cost over $4,000! He broke one by accident too...hahaha
Then again, this ain't no sci-fi epic so there's no real need for a ginormous budget.

No no! You have to watch "Another Ending", then "Densha Otoko DX". THEN it's over. |
