Mitsubishi Lancer EVO FQ400
2.0L I-4 Turbo
405hp, 355lb-ft
0-60mph: 3.5 seconds
topspeed: over 175mph(282km/h)
the car weighs approx 3,250+lbs and still a bit faster than the Z06 for 0-60mph...with a lot less hp and torque.
the point is...the GT-R is heavier, but with a lot more power/torque, I think it is reasonable to achive the same 0-60mph as the Evo. |

You are comparing awd to rwd..
its easier to get a good 0-60 time in a awd car since its easier to get traction

Good riddens, obviously a Mazdaspeed3.
It's not that fast relatively, but you're paying a lot less compared to the supercars. And you said ratio.

Yes it has "only" 290hp or so, but it keeps up with cars with over 400hp. It's all in its power/weight ratio and distribution. Sure you have a point, but I'm of the opinion that you get a lot of car in the NSX, much more than an hp number represents.
ditto on fox-body mustangs in response to thread. Off the top of my head I would've said Z06 or SRT4.

How is the fox body better than a 1g awd DSM? I know foxes are fast and cheap, but
Talons are usually half the price 2k-4k as apposed to 5k-8k
Talons are lighter (not by much but I've weighed both one after an other)
Talons are AWD
Talons can squeeze an extra 100hp out for close to $1000
Talons handle better
I havn't run a DSM for a few years now cuz they're unreliable and such, but even stock for stock, Price to Performance I don't know how any other car can compare when you can pick up a good runner for $3k. Add $100 for a boost controller, boost gauge, re-wired fuel pump and an open downpipe and you're putting down over 200hp to the ground through AWD
In before 'crankwalk'

Mustangs ain't shit, dsms for true street performance. You can get one that will trap 135mph with AWD, hit mid 10's on all seasons for 10k price of the car included. Lets see a rustang do that with some all seasons.

Did anyone forget the Aerial Atom? | Ariel Atom is pretty much a track car. I think the only way you can get it legally on the road in Canada is if you import it in pieces and put it together as a kit car.
