Lightbulb Your Opinion on Best Price To Performance Ratio Vehicle?

Hey just wondering what you think is the best bang for the buck car, of any generation....Also state a reason why. In my opinion I would say the upcomming GT-R seems to be very good Price/Performance Ratio and Along Side with the New Evo X!

I'd say the GTR seems like it would be pretty good on price/performance, but I just can't get over how ugly it is.

definitely not the Z06 anymore.

I'd say the GT-R.
According to Edmunds, the GT-R's price can be as low as $67,000. The Z06 is $71,000.

Also the GT-R is faster than the Z06 anyways...except the topspeed.

The NSX-R is over priced.

only 280hp, a lot more expensive than the Viper, GT-R and Z06.

Buy a used 2001 Z06 Corvette. 405hp in a very well sorted suspension. You can get them between $16,000-$20,000 in the states.

Throw in a momo or OMP wheel, and some recaros or sparcos, and a nicer shifter, and it's actually a totally bearable GM!

Probably in 0-30 or even 0-60 where the extra traction from AWD helps, but after that it'll be bye-bye GT-R.
Nissan GT-R
top speed 310.6 kph / 193 mph
0 - 60 mph 3.5 seconds
0 - 1/4 mile 11.7 seconds

Chevrolet Corvette Z06
top speed 318.7 kph / 198 mph
0 - 60 mph 3.6 seconds
0 - 1/4 mile 12 seconds
http://www.supercars.net/cars/3075.html

and yes, the GT-R's laptime is faster on the ring as well.

Just did a quick search. The GT-R apparently is quite the porker.

Wikipedia (fwiw) provides curb weights of 3836 lb for the GTR and 3132 lb for the C6 Z06... interesting.

...because an Accord isn't exactly a bargain in either the price or performance section... not to mention the best of both.
