Thai son on Garden City near Cambie is also good. Nooch at Capstan Way and Garden City is a unique one (bigscreen flat panel HDTV, free wifi in a pho place lol). I hear Pho Lan on #3 rd. is very good too, but I haven't been. Friends complain it's dirty so we never go. |
fuck just went to pho lan for a quick bite last night place has gotten a fuckload dirtier inside, waitresses have gotten a fuckload stupider. food has stayed the same, but more expensive. |
Pho Lan is good value for what you pay, but nowhere in my books is it considered "good" pho. The place is far too dirty and the quality of food is sub-par. Better pho can be had elsewhere. |
Thai Son, on north road but it closed now....sigh....im starving right now....but im so lazy to go out and eat.... or even move |

The best is Pho Thai son |
Coming from a guy with the name KingNguyen83, I'm afraid it is not the best. :lol |
stay away from Pho Viet in richmond in the same complex as Nando's by No3 Road on Ackroyd. every time ive gone here, they've managed to screw up my order. i tried ordering by name, nope, still screwed up the order, ordered by number, nope... its like 3 bloody items, how hard is it to screw up especially if u have a printed pad that has everything written down and all u have to do is checkmark things off. last night was the last straw, large no1 house special, order of viet ham, and a salty plum soda. the bowl they gave was the size of the small bowl that my friend ordered, on top of that, they cheap out on everything BUT the pho. if i wanted just PHO, i would have ordered it. no viet ham, but 2 orders of fried spring rolls, and the salty plum soda was water + ice + 1/2 a salty plum. we asked if our order of viet ham was coming, he said "err yah yah," with a response like that, i knew we were fucked! so we didnt touch 1 of the spring rolls, the guy doesnt remove it from our table after we told him he brought the wrong order, and after they disposed of it, the owner starts bitching about how we touched it and ate it so we should pay for it, on top of the order. man, i use to love this place but its gone down him, did a google search and EVERYONE has said the same thing. our waiter looked like even he wont even touch the food there, and he's always giving attitude and this weird look to all the customers. sigh, wont touch this place again, the attitude we got was just shit. weather its cheap eats or 3 star michelin, service should be at least at an acceptable level. on top of that, we heard them talk shit about us as we left. |

they give u a lot of beef though |
If I remember correctly, there was this pho place diagonal from the Arby's near Metrotown? Does anyone know the name of that place? It was pretty cheap + they had like 3 hot girls waitressing... It also had shitty parking lol. |
^ Pho Hoang. The 3 hot girls are never really there anymore. Food isn't that great. |

Pho HoAng is the one located on Main st. :) |
I tried the Pho at Vina Vietnamese in Metro food court yesterday. It's a little pricey for what you get (I paid 5.63 taxes in for a small), but then again it is in the food court. It was better than I was expecting. Soup was quite good in my opinion, and the serving size was alright. Definitely worth checking out if you want some Pho in Metrotown, but lazy to go anywhere else :lol |
