Dood thats awesome! Whereabouts?? |
Pho Thanh Hoa on 431 Jones Street just off Ellis Street (Tenderloin area - yikes!) I originally wanted to go to Pho Hoa Hung but the building was torn down? I just landed in Los Angeles. I'll review some pho here and post a thread later on in a few days. :) |
Here's my review! Click! :D |

I realized every Pho tastes different. so some restaurant's soup base tastes so much different! |
I just went to au petit cafe, sandwiches lived up to their hype. Loved the beef curry too. |
I like Pho Lan across from city hall in richmond (3 rd) |

I'm not a pho expert, but the Pho kinda sucks IMO. It's better than Pho hoa, but other than that....mediocre to me There's another place down the road which is better, I forgot the name but it's on Saba Road I think. I miss Tai Son......Please come back to Richmond. |
^ You don't have to be a pho expert to know that Pho Lan is all that great. :p In all honesty, it's okay at best. The soup is bland, the noodles are of poor quality and the meats used in their pho dac biet is....blahzay. :o |
i passed out at pho van once, to drunk lol |
when i'm bored of pho, i go to cantonese restaurant for beef brisket noodle. chunky beef pieces FTW! |

+1 for little asia cafe next to bobs sub btw. |
Cafe Asia rules.... in the staples plaza right? i always get custom order, lemon grass chicken w/ 2 eggs on rice... or their spicy chicken is really good |

...has anyone had their "secret" beef dish? It's not on their menu and you have to preorder it 24 hours in advance. Had it on the weekend, it was pretty good but not spectacular. Maybe it was hyped by the fact it was a "secret" dish and not on the menu... |

Bao Chao is the best, i've had. |
bump of an old thread. I had pho in Dresden, Germany. It was tasty but they used the same noodles found in pad thai so unfortunately, the noodles got soggy and the beef used was cheap sirloin. I had pho in Calgary - it comes close to Vancouver but it's way too clean to be good. :) |
omg (>___<) whyyy do u eat pho in germany!? u must eat the pig hocks!!! but for ppl who say pho lan is only okay at best, yes its true - u must order only the spicy one!! (@__@)!! |
