So I went to Pho Vinh the other day. Their food was actually very good! Oh, and they have THE BEST Vietnamese coffee in town.

Thanks to their coffee.. i'm still awake at this time. It's so damn strong, but sooooooo good ahaha | I just got their house special beef noodle soup. It was really good. Soup was clear and there was a nice emphasis on the cilantro and onions. I'm assuming it's northern Vietnamese style?
Service was excellent and the people there were super friendly!

I've noticed a lot of northen Vietnamese people speak Cantonese (fluently too) and have the whole Confucian setup. Also, their broth is clearer from what I've noticed compared to say, southern Vietnamese style which is darker and heavier.

Ohh. Oh yeah! During the time when I spoke with the owner, he said he was the previous KIM HOANG restaurant owner a few years back. No wonder that place has went down hill. Happy that he's back into the restaurant business after a few years
