My friends and I ate here the first day we arrived in Paris. The restaurant was just down the block from where our hostel was and we were starving. I don't have any other Vietnamese places to compare it to in Paris but we enjoyed the food. Pho is more expensive and the portions aren't what you're used to in Vancouver. From what I remember you'd get a small size for the price of a large (one of my friends ended up ordering a second because he was so hungry) but the food hit the spot and still reminded us of home. A husband and wife run the restaurant and they were really friendly (taking our orders themselves, serving our tea -- I don't even remember seeing a waitress working). They also had frogs legs which tasted pretty good considering it was my first time. It seemed like most people who came into the restaurant were regulars they'd be chatting it up with the owners.
The address is 29 Rue Véron
75018 Paris, France
It's about a 5 minute walk from the Moulin Rouge.. when I google-mapped it the name of the restaurant was different (Escale-Montmartre?) but I assume my picture is more recent because I was only there last July.
Yeah hahaha ur sis fucked up on our order!! My buddy wanted to try your bunbotai but he got the pho tai. Its all good honest mistake!
I did get the bunbotai tho the beef is dope! Ahahahah will return again! Posted via RS Mobile

Ahahah yeahh the bun is awesome! Iduno if its best in town tho, I've only tried 3 different places for bun but the bunbotai is killer tho.
Actually out of my group only myself I was an rs member hahas.
You guys should convert your waitresses like the cafe lu girls be the first in van! Posted via RS Mobile
I think she’s one of those weirdos who gets off on feeding fat fucks. Pretty sure she feeds me and then goes home to cook her own baooo yuuu with supreme sauce
Went to Hoi An yesterday with my gf. Our experience was ruined however by a guy sitting in a table next to us who decided it was a good idea to rub his feet with his hands while we ate. Food was good though! Should also mention that it was pretty stuffy in there. Some proper ventilation would go a long way! Posted via RS Mobile

haha that sounds so vietnamese, it's funny cause it's so normal if they are wearing slippers.
Yea it was meant to really be a small cafe shop so we don't really have a real kitchen or ventilation but it's been so popular since day one that it's become like a real busy restaurant. what did you order?

Damn I miss Europe
I've been to this place. I also stayed in a hostel in Montmartre. So many asians in this area and it's ridiculous the prices they're charging for food court type asian food.
Got it. Was looking for recc's (cheap/big/delicious) for good pho, Euro/Parisienne influence, whatever that may be.
Will probably roll through Berlin sometime. Where's the place?
The Vietnamese center is called Dong Xuan Center: Herzbergstraße 128
10365 Berlin, Deutschland
There are a couple of restaurants there but my favorite is the one accross from the supermarket in Halle 2(Building 2). If you get lost, just follow the asians.
Tried out Hoi An Cafe with my mother, cousin and uncle today.
Once we walked in my mother recognized one of the waitresses from an old restaurant on Kingsway/Fraser she used to love. She wanted to order the old "11" from the old menu but I guess y'all don't have the same dish anymore. Anyways I tried the bun bo hue and it was great! Definitely coming back again.

Invisible sky daddies commanding people to do shit is just so beyond retarded, I feel like punching myself in the balls until I shit my computer chair.
