LOTR was rated PG...
they should do a tv series for the Silmarillion, fuck i read that book 3 fucking times to understand what was going on.. Tolkien had too much detail information and explanation.. all characters had like 4 different names in the entire book...
but its cool to read about Sauron being just human and Gandalf being given a history as a God...
its amazing that they recreated the sets from LOTR..
i cant wait, im glad PJ is back directing it....
BTW, the Blu Ray Extended LOTRs will be released later in the year, around the same time as Star Wars BRs... im glad i held off buying the ones from last year

You know that they're splitting the extended editions on to 2 blu-ray discs right? (even though the extended editions can fit on 1 50gb bd using the same bitrates the theatrical versions use)
and in the space they have left from splitting the films they're loading it with special features and making ofs -_-
