The Taqwacores

I watched this movie a few days a go and I still can't get it out of my head. It's just one of those movies that totally blows your mind. It's a movie about Muslim punk rockers in Buffalo and it's kind of dark but it's awesome. It's really hard for me to to explain it just watch it.

9 out of 10.

I have no fucking idea what's going on with these movies anymore. All these references to names and weird words... you must have to read the books to understand it...

Battle LA 6/10

Not as bad as I keep hearing, the comments I heard almost made it sound as bad as Battle Field Earth or something so went into it with super low expectations. Didn't turn out as bad as I thought but by no means that great either.

Green Hornet 7.5/10

Enjoyed the movie more then expected. Some decent laughs and Jay Chou turned out better then I thought.

^ really i enjoyed it...gotta have patience for movies like that though

close encounters with the third kind 5/10
i'm sure it was a technical feat back in 1977 and hyped back then with all the ufo craze..but holy shit i was so bored..never expected spielberg movies to be this dry.
i guess without it there would never be movies like E.T, Independence Day & District 9
