I watched MI: Ghost Protocol last night... and I'm still not quite sure how I felt about it.

My observations:

- The action was decent. However the fight scenes, minus the last one were all done in quick cuts. Most people may not notice but I'm picky about fight scenes.

- Good level of intensity throughout the movie and the pacing felt ok. Overall acting was what was to be expected... not amazing, and not horrible.

- Paula Patton in that dress... good lawd.

- Cruise's acting was pretty flat... and Renner seemed to shine more in the film. Could it be that they're preparing to pass on the torch to a new IMF agent as the main star? Renner seems to be pretty capable in that regard since he was excellent in the Hurt Locker.

Paranormal Activity 2: 7/10

I actually liked it better than the first. Lower expectations, and a better job creating a spooky atmosphere. Plus it tied in to the first nicely. I am actually looking forward to checking out part 3 now.

30 minutes or less - 7/10

Wasn't expecting much, just another comedy where you don't have to think at all. I was actually surprised, it had some funny parts here and there.

Source Code - 8/10 - Interesting concept, loved the ending

Hangover 2 - 7/10 - Not as good as the first, but it had it's moment

Unknown - 7.5/10 - Liam Neeson was alright in it. It'd be scary as fuck waking up from a coma and finding out someone else is you.

TinTin

8/10

I read the comics growing up as a kid and loved them. Snowy was spot on, but Tintin was made to be a little annoying. Nonetheless the story and plot was similar, and as ridiculous as the original.

CGI was good and I loved the little hidden gems citing back to the original comic strips.

I recommend the film for all Tintin fans!

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. 9.5/10. Holy fuck, every scene in that movie was great. Kept my attention all the way through, not a lot of movies have done that..

Saw a 12 year old kid in the theater as I was leaving. That kids gonna be scarred. His mom should have checked the reviews first. lol.

tintin 7.5/10

Great movie and animation, very effective at threading 2 or three plots simultaneously. What turns me off is that it's a 3-D movie. The 3-D was unnecessary and barely incorporated into the film. I thought it would have be an animated masterpiece if it was not 3-D.
