End of Watch - 9/10
Since most of the reviews were about the camera work, which is true. it did not take anything away from the story. The movie was like a really long episode of Southland which was sort of what I hoped for.

Godfather Part 1 - 10/10
Godfather part 2 - 7.9/10 I was just too tired after watching the first haha and thus I was missing a lot of things. I feel like 2 more so than 1, would get better after watching it another time. The whole movie seems much more subtle if that makes sense.
Looper - 9/10
Went in knowing nothing about this movie. Holy crap my mind was completely blown by this movie. Such a smart concept for a movie. Badass fight scenes as well.
I thought the storyline was great, but I felt that they dragged it on quite a few times. I thought there would be more action scenes as well. Smart concept though..
Resident evil 5 - 4/10
Omg it was cheesy and the acting was terrible!! I'm a huge resident evil fan, but this one was horrible!. Best part of the movie was the Asian chick(HOT) and the ending..... I wish it was better eh =( I can't wait for resident evil 6 =p
Went into it knowing nothing but what the trailer showed me. It was a pretty decent blend of action and drama... and surprisingly, Bruce Willis can actually do more than just fight scenes. Great concept that actually worked pretty well, especially considering most time travel movies are either too damn convoluted or unbelievable. There were a couple of characters that didn't need to be included, or at least have as much screen time as they had, but that kid... damn, I hate kid actors but this one worked soooo well!
Yes, it's an old movie but I still love it. Not an action movie by any stretch of the imagination, despite the fact that it's a Bruckheimer/Scott collaboration. The acting of both Washington and Hackman is fantastic and truly draws you into the drama over who is really in control. Hans Zimmer is also one of my favourite composers, and the soundtrack he wrote for Crimson Tide is, while typically Zimmer, hauntingly beautiful at times.
Despite the fact that this movie is nearly 20 years old now, it still sits as one of my all-time favourites.
Even if you know what happens this movie offers a bit of intensity...slow at parts but solid acting by a wide range of cast members and the additonal use of wittu humor made this movie really enjoyable.

im surprised looper is getting a lot of praise, i'll have to check it out
the concept just seemed stupid to me in the trailer (why would gangsters need to send people back in time to get whacked? especially if they controlled time... hell why are they even gangsters)
