i found it to be the opposite, way to much build up for something to happen, then have nothing happen, only 1-2 times it got a jump out of me, the rest of the movie was me waiting, i found the ending to be very aggravating, screaming "run faster you fuck"
I understand that too, a lot of nothing happened. Or at least, nothing really scary (I startle easily though). I think I'd give it a 8/10 to someone easily scared, for someone who's used to horror movies, maybe a 5?
Cloverfield - 7/10
Everyone shits on this movie, and after watching it again, I remember why; the cameraman is so fucking annoying to listen to. Either way, loved the idea of it, and they way it was shot.. Just wish the characters weren't so terrible at times.
Akira - 8.5-9/10
So well done for the time. When a friend was making fun of me for watching an anime movie, and then proceeded to sit down and watch the entire thing, I think that says something. Good characters, art, and story.
Amazing Spiderman - really went in thinking Garfield was going to fuck it up, but damn, am I impressed. This was a great reboot and I liked the tone much better than the Maguire ones.

I will first say if anyone is going to go see this movie make sure your not tired and have 3 hours to actually pay attention. The story line is confusing but enticing, the editing and makeup are amazing so overall I really enjoyed it.
BUT if your looking to watch a movie where you really don't have to pay attention this movie may not be for you.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is definitely one of the best I have watched.
couldn't agree with you more. it was ok. the pacing was fast enough for me to not care much. glad it didn't rip off the 1st with toby M. I did like Emma stone in it.
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter ----solid 7.8/10 , it might seem stupid but was actually good. Really good action , makes me want to learn how to fight with an Axe haha
