Die Hard 5 (A Good Day To Die Hard? Die Harder? Die Hard Again? Die Hard Die Tomorrow?)
Whatever the actual name was, it was 6/10 for me. It was just a forgettable action movie. Explosions, a lot of Mercedes vehicles, some girls, and some Bruce Willis. Just didn't do anything for me. Upside was it was never dragging; fast 2 hours movie.
bridesmaid 7.5/10
finally checked it out after dismissing chick flicks...pretty funny
dredd 8/10
visuals effects/music were VERY well done...one of the few movies I would wanna watch in 3D.
I didn't realize it was lena headey from 300/game of thrones...she reminded me of the actress from fight club
being john malkovich
7.7/10
very original...but doesn't match up to fight club or memento as some movie critic suggested for late 90's mind fuck movies
Sorry, couldn't find a Cantonese version but Chow Yun Fat's acting was jut amazing, some action scenes, some history of hold Shanghai, decent love story, very decent story line... overall, the cast was jut freaking fantastic.
very impressed 9/10 it would have been a 10 if it was Cantonese.
Undercover police officer Ja-sung (Lee Jung-jae) infiltrates Gold Moon, the biggest crime organization in Korea, to investigate them under the command of his superior Kang (Choi Min-sik). After eight years, Ja-sung becomes the right-hand man to the ring's second-in-command Jung Chung (Hwang Jung-min), who holds the real power. But when its leader is killed in a mysterious car accident, Gold Moon is thrown into chaos and power struggles that threaten to tear it apart. Top-level police officials initiate project "New World" to intervene in Gold Moon's selection process for the next leader, and to use the leader's death to their advantage in controlling the crime organization.
Caught between Jung Chung who trusts him with his life, and Kang who thinks of him only as bait, Ja-sung is cornered by both bosses on opposite sides and must make a final decision that rests on loyalty and betrayal.
I've been looking forward to New World (신세계) for a while now since I love Choi Min-sik and crime films. I loved it and it's currently #1 in the box office.
