Olympus has Fallen 8/10.

saw advance screening of the film at Silvercity Riverport thanks to a friend.

Good story, good choreography of fighting scenes, funny dialogue.

Gerard Butler is the man!

The twist was good, I was quite confused until then. Not a bad movie, took a risk of swaying away from the generic horror movies and did a good job

Life of Pi - 10/10

My god...the cinematography was magnificent. Watched it on my 3D tv, and take my word for it, DO NOT watch this in 2D. Find someone who has a 3D tv if you haven't seen this film already. This is probably the only film ever released in 3D that utilized it perfectly.

edit: The person above me 100% did not watch it in 3D. I cannot imagine how this film was in the theaters or IMAX.

^It was my first experience with modern 3D movies, and it was amazing to watch in theatre. Probably won't watch another one in 3D....

Red Dawn.... makes me think the original is Oscar worthy

they should CGI and edit out the "Wolverines" and replace it with "Taliban" or "Hamas" and make a killing off the movie in the middle east

movie would have been better if they kept it as Chinese invaders but even then :/

4/10

Oz the Great and Powerful
7/10 Can't see how it can be for children. There's so many "HOLY F*CK" moments. It's also a nice take on the original Wizard of Oz

Snitch - 8/10

Despite what the trailers would indicate, NOT your average ass-kicking-Rock rollicking action extravaganza. It is a good intense drama with some well-placed action though.

Id pay the $12 just to look at mila kunis on the big screen.

Good movie, I believe its suppose to be like a prequel to the wizard of oz story. 8/10

Remember how SHITTY Hangover 2 was... well this is the China version but FUCKIN EPICCCCCCCC. great script, great acting, EPIC cast (he wrote, directed and starred himself in the movie) the jokes were SUPER funny. NO wonder they made SO MUCH MONEY from this movie. The movie is in mandarin. I was going to post up a link of the preview but I guess it was already on Youtube + english sub. If you know Mandarin it'll be 9/10, if you're good with your Chinese subtitles cause you're cantonese it'll be solid 8/10... i didn't watch it with English subs so i wouldn't know if it was lost in translation but.... awesome movie. epic funny BUdget was 2.2 million, it made 200 million.. epic. there are outtakes at the end...

人再囧途之泰囧

I know this is the "original" kids-fighting-to-their-death kinda movie..but OMG..what a terrible terrible movie. The acting, the fight scenes....maybe even a 2 is too much.

The Switch
8/10
Jennifer Aniston's acting has really come a long way. I thought it was super funny and loved the kid. Super cute!!!

Tangled - 6/10

A typical Disney/Pixar movie adaptation of a fairy tale. Lots of singing, well done animation, and a couple funny scenes. I pretty much just watched it because I was stuck in a room with everyone watching it.
