oblivion - 7/10 great graphics and imagery, lots of attention were put into creating a well-developed scenery. Plot was what killed this movie, i just didn't feel like the storyline had much meaning to it
gain and pain - 5/10 the 5 points are for getting to see dwayne johnson on the juice, which i'm being generous for.
There are no principles, there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them.
Freaking AWESOME movie. won many awards, Japanese movie with great cast, great acting, some laughs but well crafted script.
talks about how a guy takes on a job putting makeups on dead people... what a great film.
solid 9/10
Wikipedia. Departures (おくりびと Okuribito?) is a 2008 Japanese drama film by Yōjirō Takita. It won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 81st Oscars in 2009 and the Japan Academy Prize for Picture of the Year at the 32nd Japan Academy Prize.
GI Joe: Rise of Cobra - 8/10, solid entry as far as toys-turned-into-cartoons-turned-into-live-action-movies go (rewatched it at home this afternoon).
GI Joe: Retaliation - 7/10, good action, decent followup but sad they didn't have much of Duke and none of Baroness (Sienna Miller ) (caught it at the cheap theater this evening)
