Catching up at the local cheap theater:
Man of Steel: solid 8/10, would watch again. Nicely done reboot. Much prefer Amy Adams' smart Lois Lane to Margot Kidder's ditzy one. Wasn't a huge fan of the "flashback" timeline style, but whatever, I guess it sort of worked in this case.
Iron Man 3: 6.5/10. Started off solid but just got sloppy and stupid toward the end. Still, it gains a point for Rebecca Hall, and I find Gwynneth eminently watchable

Awesome movie, but not as good as the first Wolverine movie, IMO
Just a tip, don't leave immediately after the credits start, there's another scene after the first set of credits. Worth the wait for sure. Posted via RS Mobile

Oblivion 6/10 I enjoyed the movie quite a bit but then it just started imploding at the end and then it tanks even further at the very ending scene if it wasn't for the rest of the movie (which i liked) i'd rate it a lot lower, that's how bad the ending was
such an awesome movie.
the way they did with a tad of history and some traditional HK scenes were jut so touching.
- great cast, great script, decent fighting, real decent story that ain't making ipman like a super hero. the acting by anthony was jut great
9/10.

...Film focused on romance waay too much. I know that it's supposed to revolve around Ip Man's latter years but still... It was nice seeing Ip Man's brother, Ip Ching [it's the REAL ip man's brother] play a role.
This is the reason I WILL be watching this. Fuck Donnie Yen and the other sellouts. Anthony Wong is one who speaks his mind and will stand up to the bullshit. Can't wait to watch this!

sorry, not sure if your chinese is wrong or not, but
葉準(born 1924年生) Ip chun is his son (actually in the movie)
葉正(born 1936年生)Ip Ching is also his son.
this paints a much better story with some narratives in the movie which i enjoyed, the accent Anthony had to play and even the tiny little details from holding his hand to collect the cig. ashes were acted perfectly.
lastly, Ipman's son 葉準 (ip chun) has actually a cameo in the movie; he plays the store clerk with glasses, who answers the phone in the movie all the time.
also 陳小春 (jordan chan) actually did an amazing job in the film, come on, this is coming from a guy like ekin that came from the gangster movie.
I enjoyed the director's efforts. the visuals and the music was truly amazing, the script however was fookinggg boring.
the director was the dude that did Drive so if you enjoyed Drive, this was another film by him.
it was very hard to watch cause I am starting to hate Ryan Gosling, he has no emotions (similar to leon lai), and in the entire film he had like 6 lines ahahhahah.
visual 9/10
music 8/10
script was pretty weak 5/10
such a fucking cool documentary. Heard all about Alex Roy's shenanigans years ago, cant believe i haven't gotten around to the doc until now.
