grown ups 2 = 7/10 , def not as good as first one but still had me laughing at some points. not many hot girls like last one =[ and some parts i felt like they cut off too quick and wish they woulda gone into a bit more
the waterboy = 8/10 , still one of those ol' time classics!

Red Dawn (2012) - 5/10 . Saw this on youtube. I was a big fan of the original but this version disappoints... Plot felt rushed, no real connection with the characters established.
it was decent, the camera work, lighting was just amazing. the beginning was decent, the ending was interesting, the middle part was a lot of guessing and mind fuck and just goes all over the place. Everything ties in the end with the script that's pretty solid.

8/10. decent watch.
Didn't even finish watching it, so I didn't post a score. I'm fine with good mindfuck movies. In fact, some of my favourite movies of all time are that kind of movie (Eternal Sunshine, Adaptation, Memento) but this was just dumb, IMO. Didn't do it for me at all
Mud. 5/10 for being super slow and all. acting was decent but man was it slow.
acting and cast 8/10.
yes, Matthew McConaughey was topless at lesat for one scene of the movie.
i gotta say, Vera Farmiga did a decent job with patrick wilson. the movie was set in 60s / 70s and they kept everything pretty cool. very decent script, decent 3rd line cast along with a good set and costumes.
totally awesome movie, had a few scary moments, nothing too far fetched that you wouldn't believe. 8/10 for a scary movie.
i have not seen the two prior to this and jut sat there soaking it in. first thing was DAMNNN, the first scene was a good solid 20 minutes of acting that's really good flowing through out.
just a bit of a warning, you really need to be watch the entire movie and soak in all the dialogue, you can relate to how a couple is struggling in their 40s, cheating, the arguing the how you are always so passive aggressive, how this and how that.. it's simply about 2 people bickering... however, if you're in your 40s with kids you can totally relate.
all in all, i enjoyed the acting, the Greece background and the conversations were great. if you ain't into boring, long dialogue movies, it ain't for you.
Actually, if I was into zombie movies, it might have scored lower... but I'm really not; if there's any one genre that simply DOES NOT interest me, it's zombie flicks. BUT... I'm a big fan of J. Michael Straczynski's work (credited as a screenwriter on this movie, although I believe his final input was minimal). As my kid put it, "It's not your typical survive-the-zombies movie". Well-done, well-paced, overall a pretty intense watch.
