Pacific Rim: Objectively (i.e. is it a good movie) - 6/10 Subjectively (i.e. did I enjoy the movie) - 9/10 The Wolverine: 5/10 across the board Also watched two other Xmen to catch up for The Wolverine: Xmen: The Last Stand 7.5/10 Wolverine: Origins 6.5/10 |
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox 8.5/10 |
A plethora of emotions during the entire film |
sightseers - 7/10 different kind of movie, thought it was fairly entertaining |
This Is The End - 8.5/10. Haven't laughed so much in a movie since probably South Park. Ending got a little lame, but it was saved at the last by an epic cameo appearance ;) |
Elysium - 8/10. Pretty decent. Kinda weird seeing Sharlto Copley in that role but he pulled it off. Worth the watch with good cinematics. |
pacific rim - 7/10 |
The Conjuring 8-10 Not bad for a scary movie. Recommended! |
this is the end 8/10 |
Man of Tai Chi 6/10 directed by Keannu Reeves...............fighting scenes are good but such poor acting.....and in most fight scene, they don't bleed even if they got smacked on the nose. |
Elysium 9/10. Matt Damon and Jodie Foster give good acting performances in this sci-fi film. Good story, great action scenes particularly the brutal fighting sequences. Amazing special effects. Neil Blomkamp does a masterful job in directing this film. |
We're the Millers 6.5/10. The ending/bloopers was quite emotional for Aniston. |
Elysium 9/10 This movie is so fooking awesome!!!!!!!! The end is kinda weak. -1 score |
Once Upon a Time in China Not as good as I remembered it being (even the kung fu).. Maybe it was the sequel I really liked :suspicious: Can't really give it a score though... it kind of exists in its own world :) |
part 2 IMO is the best. if i recall correctly wasn't donnie yen the villain in part 2? back in the day whenever i heard the theme i'm always like :fuckyea: |

Been watching lots of of older kung fu movies lately... Out of all the stars I think yuen biu is probably my favourite but hasn't had a starring role often enough. |
yeah Yuen Biao is great too you'll have to look way back for his movies though all the guys/gals that went to the peking opera school with jackie etc are great |
Wolverine 6/10 Posted via RS Mobile |
Elysium - 8/10 I enjoyed it but hoped they would have more bad ass shots that have the onscreen presence of the mech sequence in the District 9. I am a bit biased though since I did some CG work in this movie. Spoiler! |

pain and gain 8/10 first of all, u'll be stupid to believe it's 100% based on a true story. the acting was ok, the action was typical michael bay, the script was at times in and out but it was flowing ok. |
2 Guns - 6.5/10 Nothing was really wrong with this movie per say...it's what you'd expect given the trailer. No better/No worse. Kind of takes you back to the 90s when you had more action flicks for mindless entertainment.... |
Pain and Gain 8/10 It was fucken hilarious Oblivion 8/10 Nothing spectacular but it was a solid basic high concept sci fi movie |
Pain and Gain 5/10 - I couldn't believe how horrible it was. I guess that's what I deserve having expectations. Just seemed over produced, stupid slow mo montage scenes, dumb ass lines, etc. I dunno, everyone I know liked it but for some reason I just hated it. |
snowpiercer 7/10 this was a pretty strange movie but at times felt a bit like oldboy (maybe a nod since the director/writer was korean as well). action parts of the movie were quite good however the story felt a bit confusing at points. chris evans acting was decent but the supporting cast felt a bit cardboard. |
