This Is The End - 8.5/10. Haven't laughed so much in a movie since probably South Park. Ending got a little lame, but it was saved at the last by an epic cameo appearance

directed by Keannu Reeves...............fighting scenes are good but such poor acting.....and in most fight scene, they don't bleed even if they got smacked on the nose.
Matt Damon and Jodie Foster give good acting performances in this sci-fi film. Good story, great action scenes particularly the brutal fighting sequences. Amazing special effects.
Neil Blomkamp does a masterful job in directing this film.
part 2 IMO is the best. if i recall correctly wasn't donnie yen the villain in part 2?
back in the day whenever i heard the theme i'm always like
Yup that's when I first discovered Donnie yen and was a big fan for a while there until Yip Man came out
Been watching lots of of older kung fu movies lately... Out of all the stars I think yuen biu is probably my favourite but hasn't had a starring role often enough.
I enjoyed it but hoped they would have more bad ass shots that have the onscreen presence of the mech sequence in the District 9. I am a bit biased though since I did some CG work in this movie.
pain and gain 8/10
first of all, u'll be stupid to believe it's 100% based on a true story. the acting was ok, the action was typical michael bay, the script was at times in and out but it was flowing ok.
Nothing was really wrong with this movie per say...it's what you'd expect given the trailer. No better/No worse. Kind of takes you back to the 90s when you had more action flicks for mindless entertainment....
Pain and Gain 5/10 - I couldn't believe how horrible it was. I guess that's what I deserve having expectations. Just seemed over produced, stupid slow mo montage scenes, dumb ass lines, etc. I dunno, everyone I know liked it but for some reason I just hated it.
My AFC gave me an ABS CEL code of LOL while at WOT!

this was a pretty strange movie but at times felt a bit like oldboy (maybe a nod since the director/writer was korean as well). action parts of the movie were quite good however the story felt a bit confusing at points. chris evans acting was decent but the supporting cast felt a bit cardboard.
