Insidious 2 7/10 - had its moments that startled you but no as good as the first one
Pain & Gain 8/10 - Entertaining throughout. As someone mentioned typical The Rock acting, but Whalberg is usually pretty good in his movies
Battlefield 8/10 - Pretty good action throughout with decent effects. The girlfriend is pretty hot so a + for that! Posted via RS Mobile

Prisoner 9/10. I can rarely sit through a movie longer than 1.5 hours and stay interested. I thought I was going to have a heart attack at certain times. Jake Gyllenhaal is such a dreamboat, and thats coming from a straight man.

^I felt like his tats were kind of pointless and almost out of place... I mean aside from the cross but even then...
Like they seem as if they were purely added for style, don't really add to his character.. like his tats aren't making me think "watch out we got a badass over here" and they're not making me think "wow this guy is really religious".
maybe I just don't understand though... don't really see why he was wearing that ring either.
To those who just watched prisoners, did you prefer Zodiac or Prisoners. Not that they are exactly the same, but they do have similar vibes throughout the films.

In my opinion, the point of the prison tats and the free-mason ring...
Spoiler!
, were to add an air of extra mysteriousness to his character. That and his little facial twitches (drug use, sleep deprivation, etc), and his constant texting and checking cell phone, which had nothing to do with the story.
But since the whole movie is about trying to figure out who did it, it adds that bit of "what if it's him" to it.
We're the Millers 7/10. Hilarious for the most part.

I honestly don't know how to rate this "movie." It's about 2/3's concert flick, 1/3'rd something else. I was at the concert they filmed this at, and I absolutely loved reliving that show. Everyone in the Imax theatre was singing along to the songs. However, the attempts at drawing the parallel between what was going on in the concert (shit breaking, people getting hurt, etc) and the outside world of Vancouver felt a little forced. Pretty sure they filmed all those outdoor scenes simply because Vancouver had a riot a couple years ago. Many of the shots seemed like they just ripped off the news station lol.
All that said, if you're a Metallica fan, I recommend you check it out. If nothing else, it's a great concert show.
For those of you who don't know wtf I'm talking about:

I can't tell if thats a hipster jab at me, since I'd probably get labelled as one, but watch the guy in Love and other drugs and I'd feel the same. The guy is a great actor, and not your typical hollywood pussy. Enough about my heterosexual man crush on Jake though.
Big lebowski
10/10
The 30th time I've seen the movie probably, and its just as funny as the first. If you haven't seen it and like awkward situational humour as opposed to Will Ferrell punchline 5 year old comedy, give it a watch.
