Here Comes the Boom 0/10 - what a fucking stupid piece of shit movie. Has Adam Sandler's fingerprints all over it. If I knew he was a producer I wouldn't have watched it.
What you see in this trailer is what you get in the movie. But atleast it wasn't made absurdly long and drawn out. It achieved what it set out to do...
Fifteen years of verite footage show the epic rivalry between half-pipe legends Shaun White and Kevin Pearce, childhood friends who become number one and two in the world leading up to the Vancouver Winter Olympics, pushing one another to ever more dangerous tricks, until Kevin crashes on a Park City half-pipe, barely surviving. As Kevin recovers from his injury, Shaun wins Gold. Now all Kevin wants to do is get on his snowboard again, even though medics and family fear this could kill him. We also celebrate Sarah Burke who crashed in Park City and died January 19, 2012.
Everyone I know said it was one of the scariest movies they've seen. I only was startled a handful of times at best. The movie had great atmosphere and some moments that were creepy, but none of it felt like that "follows you home" creepy. If you don't like dolls/puppets, it'll give you the creeps.
Don't see why I can't watch this at home in 3D and have the same experience. Didn't think the massive screen added much. Great film though. Didn't think I could sit through 1.5 hours of seeing the same actor.
Ender's Game - 6/10
My god...never read the book, but does this guy ever lose? Didn't feel threatened at all for him throughout the entire film. Dialogue was really bad at the beginning too. The Sci-Fi elements made up for the rest though.
Worst movie experience ever...
watched it on UAVX...less than halfway thru the movie I already started getting dizzy and headache from all that shaky camera
I had to look away or close my eyes everytime they cut to the lifeboat scene...
I almost threw up by the time I walk out the theater....
another friend also said he got dizzy halfway thru....but my gf was totally fine and said the movie was good...
I have watched other cam movies like Cloverfield, paranomal activites, etc before and they were totally fine..., not sure why this one give me such a bad headache...i am sure the giant UAVX screen didn't help...
