22 jump street 8/10
It was stupid, but you kinda know that. Doesn't take itself too seriously and so many actual keel over laughing parts. Well worth seeing.

Transformers: Age of Extinction - 3/10
Went in with ZERO expectations and still thought it was an incoherent mess. Whoever did the editing on this film should be fired. The movie abruptly jumps from scene to scene with no sense of flow.
- The big attraction for this movie; the Dinobots, barely got any screen time. Most of the time they were being ridden around on like a My Little Brony.
- Optimus Prime strikes me as a psychopath rather then the honourable leader we all know.
- It's so obvious that this film was backed by Chinese financiers. I'd be okay with scenes that glorify the Communist government if it added anything to the movie but they felt shoehorned in. Keep that shit for the International cut, IMO.
I give 1 point for the hot JB, 1 point for nice Dinobot design and 1 point for the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer that played before the movie.

Edge of Tomorrow - 9/10. I have some friends who don't want to see it because they don't like Tom Cruise. He may be a little kooky with the Scientology, but he makes a lot of good movies.
Lego Movie 9/10. Took the kids but was surprised how entertaining it was. Batman was hilarious.

Transformers 4: 4/10
The blatant, rampant product placement was a joke. Plot non-existent and dialogue awful. Ran for nearly 3 hours, wayyy too long. How the fuck does Ehren Kruger have a job. What a fuckin joke. Some points for the visuals.

Transformers: Age of Extinction 4/10
- they seem to have driven from Beijing to HK (they were in the same cars sitting in the same positions in both cities)
- there were HK taxis in a Beijing tunnel
- all the cars in HK were LHD!!!!!!!!!! fck that bugged the shit outta me
btw, i'm no transformers expert, so is the big dino optimus rides Grimlock?
