TMNT 7/10 - Liked Rapahel a lot in this movie, and Mikey also. Normally my favourite Is Donatello and Leo.

7seven: I really can't stand all these idiots who hit the gym now just because they watched 300 and want to be like a spartan. Case in point, this skinny guy comes into the gym the other day, must have only weighed ~ 140lbs, loads on 2 plates on the bench rack, mutters to himself, for sparta, unracks the barbell and proceeds to drop it directly on his chest.

Finally got around to watching Battleship (though not entirely intentionally, I must say). Didn't like how the aliens were too humanoid, and the plot is pretty thin in a few places. Okay, more than a few. And the fact that the younger brother was ready to ram his destroyer into the alien ship and kill everyone on board simply because he wanted to avenge his brother... Yeah, that pissed me off and kept making me wish for a different ending for the film. lol

That said, it actually was better than I had expected. Good mindless action flick. Apart from the humanoid alien shapes, I did like the design of the alien ships... so there's always that.

Anyway, 5/10 overall.

GoG - 7.5/10

Went in with high expectations, was a tiny bit let down but overall still a fun flick. Best movie of the year (as proclaimed by some of my friends), maybe not.

The Cabin in the Woods: 7.5/10

I usually laugh and think most mainstream horror movies are lame, but this flick was refreshing as it was a sort of "meta" take on the genre. Didn't really expect the "twist". I was thoroughly entertained.

Lucy - 7/10 not as terrible as expected but I also expect more from Luc Besson and it had some major holes.

expendables 3... action flick, not bad. too bad it leaked like 3 week prior or else the box office would have done much better.

GoG - 8.5/10 - Seen it twice, thoroughly enjoyed it both times! It has replaced The Winter Soldier as my favorite Marvel movie.

That's what Marvel's long term plan is. Hopefully it will be as epic as the comics!

Lucy - 2/10
- Not the highlight of Choi Min-Sik's or Scarlett Johansson's career.

not really it was estimated that the North American piraters allotted to $4million if they went to the theatres to watch it

however some of those who pirated also went to see it in theatres so less than $4mil tacked onto that opening weekend still = a bad weekend

I enjoyed it but the young actors were horrible, if they were cut out they could have given more screen time to Arnold, Snipes, Gibson...and if it was Rated R still it may have helped
