^^^Interesting rating considering that there is a lot of buzz/hype around it along with favorable reviews. Noted!

Godzira: I forgot Fight Club and American History X in my all time favorites list. Thanks for the reminder.

Does anyone like horror movies?

Are there any newer ones worth watching? Has anyone seen 'you're next' ?
the preview looked good.

I ask a lot of questions :P

You're Next sucked balls. Predictable and meh. There is a "Scariest movies you've seen" thread somewhere with a few titles that I've never heard of that looked good.

I really enjoyed Oculus and The Babadook. If you haven't seen them already, I'd recommend them

Nice, my wife and I love horror movies I'll check these out.

If you ever get a chance to check "Tusk" out........don't. I'm a Kevin Smith and horror fan, started off alright just kept getting worse and worse.

Citizen 4 - 8.5/10 A raw documentary about Ed Snowden from the beginning. I knew about him and what he did but i wasn't aware of the blanket surveillance in the US.

Into the Woods 3/10

There were a few good parts, but it was a mess of a movie.

the imitation game 7/10 would have rated much higher if they gave a nod in the movie to Marion Rajewski but instead they made it seem like it was all Turing

You care about a movie giving a "nod" so much that you give it a lower rating?

yes, cuz the movie is trying to pass itself off as fact... when it comes to fact based fiction i expect the facts to dominate... even in the ending when they're giving actual facts about Turing and Enigma they were misleading...it's just soooo dishonest, grinds my gears

also if you flip to the 1st page a 7 is classified as
Quote:
7 = good but had the potential to be great
the imitation game would have been "great" for me if they left important pieces in the story line

taken 3
serioulsy, the script was ok, but the person who mofo edited the film SUCK balls.

camera angles were great but when you keep on cutting and editing and put in as much as possible, you don't get a chance to appreciate it. It's like a DJ who is shitty at mixing, you barely get into the groove and you're off to the next song.

7/10... i totally shut by brain off and it was decent.

Taken 3 - 5/10 I hated the movie franchise to begin with
