Heard it was an action movie, decided to watch. Was not disappointed. Last fight was really cheesy though.
Wife really was upset at one scene, if you have watched the movie you'll know which scene.
It's funny, albeit I'm a sucker for Simon Pegg films. The cinematography was quite nice too, not much to the story just your typical mid-life crisis film and he goes on a journey of self discovery only to end up back where he was just with a fresh perspective on life...but it was still nice seeing it play out
nightcrawler 8.5/10
i haven't watched a lot of movies that got recent oscar nods (namely foxcatcher/birdman) but this might just be the movie of 2014 for me
yeaaaaaa I should have watched this years ago, my bad. As a modern day film 7/10
As a film from freaking 1982
9/10
Heavily influenced a ton of video games and media, established the cyberpunk genre
I'm sure I'll get some hate for this, but part of me.... kinda wants a modern day remake, and part of me doesn't.... but I think it would be interesting to see a remake re-done by Ridley Scott himself.
The Interview - 6.5/10
Not terrible. The typical gross-out moments but decent story and characters.
World War Z - 6.5/10
Good action and visuals but I didn't care much about any of the characters, which took me out of it.

the interview 4.5/10
was expecting better...even for a dumb movie it was pretty bad. i didn't realize lizzy caplan was the goth girl from mean girls haha
the judge 7/10
some touching moments...but too long and legal procedural stuff puts me to sleep
Definitely one of the better movies of the year, would watch again. But some scenes made me go

The Judge 7.5/10 great performances by RDJ and Duvall, it was a long movie but could have been fleshed out a lot more and most of the side plots were just left hanging... could have been a lot better but it was still good
I believe cars are meant to be driven. I see zero point in having a beautiful car and never driving it. Might as well have Miranda Kerr in your bed and sleeping on the ground cause you don't want to fudge her mascara...
We go through our entire lives being told what to do every step of the way. The garage was always the one place where you could indulge in your own passion, with not a care for the outside world.
