fast 7 8/10
chappei 8/10
ex machina: 7.5/10 not a movie theatre movie so thank you StylinRed for suggesting not to see it there. very well executed but not that epic as i thought it would be. small production movie and for what's it worth, solid 7.5
project almanac; young kids, very cool and wtf concept... worked out well 7.5/10
*** dark comedy. there are jokes that are dry and there are times where it's just painful but heck, I had a few laughs. Trailer shows 1/2 the movie but that's really the whole premise of the story.
not a bad sit at home 'meh' type movie ... decent acting and script.
the idea of AI's already being amongst us is really fucking with me right now. and im 100% sober.
but then again theres a small chance that we're all living in a simulation so?..
.
Just saw Ex Machina, I give it 8/10.
I thought it was a great execution in terms of describing and being able to articulate and extract human traits. How we as society have become very self-centered individuals.
pitch perfect 2... meh. good to see familiar faces. 7/10
Begin again. What an awesome movie. I adore Keira (it's her first signing gig also).... great script, amazing sound track. 9/10.
great cast; Adam Levine's first ever role in a movie (which he insisted on not getting paid, and Mark Ruffalo is amazing.

Kingsman 6/10 may have liked it more if I was still a pre-teen/teen, some cool scenes though
San Andreas 5/10 weak story, weaker acting, nice looking women, the special effects were nice but was a lot of the same thing just again and again...the final disaster scene was underwhelming, 2012 was a lot better
I saw the boat/tsunami scene of San Andreas when the Rock was promoting it on a talk show and I thought the CGI was terrible... after that decided I would wait until it was available to rent.

Jurassic World...hmm rated compared with the other Jurassics...I'd say it's as good as Jurassic Park 2...corny, some laughs, cheesy, some action, Bryce Dallas Howard doesn't look as comical as she does in the trailer with that getup, she's damn sexy...it was alright could've been way better, it felt like they had a good base for a fine movie, but never followed through developing characters and story lines
Imo, I liked this chapter a lot better than the 2nd one. I wasn't really feeling the 2nd as there wasn't much.. i guess, scary scenes(?) or to the point to give me that 'jolt' when something pops up. Chapters 1 and 3 over 2 for sure.
