Pele - 5/10 - too cheesy

Independence Day: Resurgence - 5/10 - CG overkill

Office Christmas Party: 7/10

Check your brain at the door and you'll enjoy the laughter. Stupid plot, but who cares, that's not what this movie was made for. Me and the wife came out of it in a great joyous mood.

Magnificent Seven: 3/10

VERY highly disappointing. I think someone wanted to make a cool movie but it got turned into this.

I agree 100%, with a pretty stacked cast too, this is the movie they made? I could really care less about any of the characters, there was no background story for the characters, everything was so rushed. It was somewhat entertaining, but all in all, I didnt even think it was worth the time spent

what's wrong with magnificent seven? I didn't think it was that bad that I would need to turn it off.
they did it with a multi cultural cast, threw in some ethnicity. Assuming you could have done better, what would you change? I mean you can't really add that much to the screen play or is there a better story line we can make better?

Honestly there's just too much to list, and this movie isn't even worth the effort of discussing it. They just got everything wrong. I could just list parts of the movie, say it's wrong and stupid, and I'd be right. It's just a bad movie (though Denzel was great as always)

Go watch Seven Samurai. Of course one is a goofy 2016 western action flick remake, and the other is a true masterpiece. But Magnificent Seven was originally a western remake of Seven Samurai, so maybe it's not totally unfair to compare the two. I haven't seen the original western

Storks 9/10 - I found it pretty funny, haven't really laughed in a animated movie in a while.

The Accountant 7/10 - Jason Bourne meets Law Abiding Citizen. Not really that believable, but an action movie worth a watch.

The Night Before: 8/10

Me and the wife were in hysterics after some of the scenes in this movie. Can't believe it never got more love from people. Only regret was not getting high before watching it, but will definitely fix that for a second viewing at some point.

Citizenfour - 8.5/10

Edward Snowden documentary, arguably the most accurate since he essentially produced it himself
- makes it easy to understand the breadth of NSA spying and what's at stake

Star Wars: Rogue One - 9/10

Great story line, great tie into Ep. 4. Best modern star wars film so far in my opinion not counting the original 3.

Shame there was no Wing chun action to be had. Donnie Yen was a bit annoying with his chanting.

Deep Water Horizon 9/10

Hit home because I've worked at a production field before. Some parts were hard to watch and were a little nauseating.

Moonlight

Went into the movie without reading anything, except that it was a good movie with good reviews.

7/10

It's good... but definitely not what I expected (All I knew it was about a black guys life story)
I guess the story is important because it's a black main character? If anyone here watched it, post your thoughts.
