^^^Agreed. Fcukin' terrible execution for a movie that looked like it might be decent.
Polar (Netflix movie) 8/10 - The Equalizer(sort of) with a Two Smoking Aces vibe. Lots of shoot ups, decent plot, decent acting. Went in with zero expectations and left feeling satisfied.
It's an anime movie (inb4 fuckin degenerate weeb) but I enjoyed the shit out of it. Corny without being cringey and exhilarating but not frantic. You'll enjoy this movie if you appreciate anime humour. The twist halfway through made my stomach drop out of my asshole.

totally legit movie;happy go lucky movie.
based on a true story; black musicial going down south and needs a driver (italian dude whos sort of racist from NY). Total culture clash, nothing too crazy but seeing how two people change, shift their mindsets, removing their barriers bit by bit and just a very comforting movie.
9/10
totally did not know Viggo Mortensen played in Lord of the rings....
Two docs on the same subject? What's the other one?
Edit: Nevermind google was my friend. Didn't realize Hulu made one, the netflix one was interesting going to watch the Hulu take this week.

The Netflix one was done by Vice and Jerry media. Jerry media is the one who did marketing for Fyre fest. The other one is on Hulu. They paid Billy McFarland for an interview.

The Guilty
Danish film.
8.5/10
Indie film, movie only has 1 scene and 3-4 characters. 1 guy carries the entire movie and there are nothing else.
You gotta sit thru it and it's all intense and a mind over visual. Every suspense is generated and imagined by the viewer; this is story telling to the max.
Quite unique and it's a thrilling ride. There are slower part but all in all, its a good watch.
sci fi move out of china,1hr in and everything seems decent, the CGI,action, story telling.....couple of wtf cheesy acting parts but i think Asia movies are known by that on western standards of Comedy, couple of heart tug scenes.
