just finished watching "Mr. Brooks" right now, and i must say its a sick, twisted, thriller. Defiantly a suspense.

overall a great movie, so i give it a 9/10.
would have gotten 10/10 except the ending could have been made a little better. seemed like they could have extended/elaborated the last 5mins into 15mins or so.

defiantly a good watch!

Black Snake Moan

9/10

powerful performances by Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci. But Justin Timberlake wasn't on the short-end of the acting stick for his part either, he portrayed his role quite promisingly (sp?).

if ur gonna say CR was just all slutty and what not, then ur not fully understanding the boundaries that his movie digs into.

*the deleted scene w/ CR and JT is WAY hilarious, and good on Craig Brewer for taking it out as it prob would have took away from the seriousness of the film

Death Sentence

7/10

Wasn't bad for an action flick but I found it hilarious how a person who needed manuals for his guns could suddenly use them as if he was Jack Bauer.

This is one of my favorite Chinese movies. It was both incredibly funny and at the same time, very moving.

Wicked Little Things
http://imdb.com/title/tt0470000/

Not your traditional zombie movie because the story talks about a group of kids that were trapped in the early 1900's during some mining work. They were left for dead and now they're zombies and they feed on people during the night.

4/10

I thought it was a pretty shitty movie and I watch all sorts of zombie films.

Dancing With Wolves - 5.5/10

This was the longest and the most boring movie I have ever watched. The Departed is 10/10 Compared to this. I have no idea how this won movie of the year 1991. Do not watch it.

PS. imo, The Departed was shit. Earns a 7/10 From me. I give harsh scores btw too.

My sentiments exactly. Its cool to see Vancouver used heavily as a backdrop to this movie but since its been done so many times it gets old when the movie isn't much to watch in the first place.

Al Pacino looks tired. Bored. Uninspired.

For a man who took such delight in playing Satan in The Devil's Advocate he could apply some of that energy to other roles (like this one).

Its worth a download or a rental but not worth seeing in the theatre.

Predictable, over-acted, and without direction.

Edit: I liked the redhead tho
