Just a rumour right now, but seeing "GT-Four" in an article makes me excited.
This could be interesting...

With Subaru in bed with Toyota right now, I can see something like this actually happening. Let's face it, Toyota needs some exciting vehicles in order to dominate the world. Subaru has the capacity to build a wicked driveline, but needs a cool chassis to put it in.
Could that AWD/Turbo coupe that I've been wanting for years come out with a Toyota badge? |

Toyota has never revived a discontinued badge.
Ie.. Tercel, Echo, Paseo, Starlet, MR2, Supra and the list goes on.

kind of confused...
why is it talking about a next gen celica when the picture they show is the FT HS concept.. because apparently that is supposed to be the next "supra".. and its supposed to be hybrid..
but anyhow, it'd be such a nice car if it went into production

I think they just used a pretty picture, that's about it.
Oh well, I'd be happy with a real GT-Four....only a year and a bit left until I can import an ST-205.... |

Original claim of the FT-HS was that it was supposed to be very fast, like 0-100 in 4sec fast.
But of course, that was way back when it was in early concept stages.
Don't forget that there was a "future AE86" concept floating around as well, and no new updates on that since.
Anyway, this is exciting, but I'll believe it when there's more solid facts.

Now I'd go with that.
A 2 door hatch version of the STi would be a market killer, and something fresh in a world of sedans. |

I don't know if I like it all that much....It looks compact but that is probably the angle the photo was taken.

I don't know...
Lexus and Toyota's the same company
But Toyta designs are nasty and Lexus are nice.
Subaru must of hired the same designer that designed Toyota cars...
After the MR2 (2nd gen) and Celica, nothing of Toyota has been too appealing. Just remake a 7th gen Celica with RWD with price tag of 35,000 or so, and I'll be so happy.

That was actually a 6th-gen GT-Four FrankenCelica thing. |

Ie.. Tercel, Echo, Paseo, Starlet, MR2, Supra and the list goes on. | Wrong, the Celica has been revived about 4 times. They will put out 2 Gens then drop it for 1 to 2 years then they put out the next Gen.
They have been doing that scene the '70's
