i wanted to get a japanese phone. Either the p905i or the so905ics which one should i get. Which one is better at games, camera, music, and reception. and also looks thanks btw i worked it out and the so905ics is 300 more than the p905i becuz i wood get teh p905 used with sim hack so is it worth the 300?

Hey guys, I am going to upgrade my phone here at the end of the month when I get a upgrade. I have been thinking about an Iphone but I am not really up to date with all of the new(er) phones out now that would be a good choice.

I'm not set on a smart phone, but I do like what you can do with them. I don't really use my phones for anything serious. Just games and the like.

I currently have the LG Shine slider and hate it.
What would you guys suggest?

If you want the games, go with the iPhone. Everything else out there would be more focused on stuff like camera imaging, music, connectivity, that sort of thing. The more you can tell about what you want your phone to do, the easier it is to properly recommend something.

I do text a bit, a lot more when I'm away for work. I would like the phone to have a decent camera (not the best on the market, but good). Something that is durable is important. Something with a good battery life is also important.

I was thinking the Iphone because of the games and also for the ipod as well.

Sounds like the new iPhone might meet your needs, if the real McCoy lives up to the rumours.

Is there anything else like the Iphone that would worth while throwing in the ring to consider?

If you're talking newer phones, the Omnia HD, the Palm Pre, maybe the HTC Diamond 2, Touch Pro 2, Nokia N85/N86/N97. The Nokia N96 is pretty good for gaming too, actually.
