Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to call RMS in the afternoon

I ordered it from the States last year, it was a limited edition helmet so I don't think it's available anymore. It's called the Icon Mainframe Eternal Sinner, they also came out with a white one called the Eternal Angel. Icon is releasing anothing sexy helmet this year called Burn Baby Burn, sorry no boobies this time.

Any suggestions on where to get a good deal on a complete set of gear in Lower Mainland? I'm looking at HJC helmets (speficically FS-15), anybody have experience with this brand? Also, will a perforated leather jacket still be too hot for the summer?

^Brand is not important as long as it is a quality product. I'm hoping to get all gear (helmet, jacket, pants, gloves, boots) for $1000-$1500 (depending on whether I get leather or textile jacket). I'm not really in a rush, b/c my riders course is not until first week of June and they provide the gear. I'm planning on buying the gear after I finish the course

Cool. By the time your at PRS doing your course, I should have something set up with Dat by then. I should also have some gear there on display as well. Sans helmets though.

the biggest thing with helmet is fit, if you can try and wear one for 30-45 mins or so in store (takes a while to notice the pressure points). a good fit will help spread out the force better in the event of a crash (knock on wood) and will help to not distract you.
shoei and arai have very different fits, the hjc fs-15 fits pretty similar to an rf-1000 and x-eleven, whereas the hjc cl-15 fits more like an arai quantum II (i think thats the one it fit like)?

For those of you who wear full textile jackets, do you still find it is too hot in summer? Do you find a textile/mesh jacket better? I'm looking at these two Yoshimura jackets (on huge discount!). I prefer the Course full textile jacket, but am a little worried it might be too hot still!

Full textile: http://www.bikebandit.com/product/17696
Mesh/textile: http://www.bikebandit.com/product/17697

There's also a perf leather version that's pretty cheap too

Alter Ego 2 can convert between full textile and mesh.
The sleeve is removable so is the front and back of the jacket. It's actually 2 in 1.

Yoshimura leather is pretty good price.
