Thanks!

No, I did not. The only thing I did was customize the suspension. You can read more about my bike on my journal entry.

That looks pretty sick. I am building a CB750 cafe as well (you might have seen it at Cypress while you were there). Do you mind if i ask where you source your parts? Any good forums for some extra info?

Thanks!

Not sure if I saw your bike specifically but I know that Dave & Darcy can and will build a proper bike.

I got my Ohlins shocks from Rod @ RMR Suspension in Abbotsford. They are an authorized Ohlins dealer and repair centre hence why I went with them. For the RaceTech Gold valve cartridge emulator, I bought them through Dave & Darcy @ Cypress since it's part of the MotoCanada catalog or whatever it's called.

For cafe parts for your CB750, I don't know of any people locally who sell stuff so your best bet is online. Most of my parts were pretty generic so no real "source" so to say. If you want some cool CB750 cafe parts, give Dustin Kott a call @ Kott Motorcycles in Santa Clarita, CA. Dustin specializes in custom fabrication specifically for the Honda CB series - this guy is a pro. Your next best bet is the famous Steve Carpenter in Orange County (Google for his info.) He's highly respected and his parts are proven to work w/o any problems but some of his stuff isn't cheap.

Locally, I'm going to have to say Cypress is a good bet and also Bill @ 5th Gear in Richmond.

BMW Airheads!

I was looking into getting a /6 but realized they are way too tall for me. That and it won't fit into my garage so I had to nix the idea altogether.
